Bishops Stortford Hockey Club

I started playing hockey for Bishop's Stortford in the under 11s. Since then I moved into the men's section playing regularly for the 6th team in 2004/05 and playing for the 3rds, 4ths, 5ths and 6ths in the 2005/06 season.

I started university at the University of York in 2006 and am studying Chemistry. I regularly play hockey for the University of York Hockey Club in both the Yorkshire leagues and BUSA (now BUCS). I have captained the University 3rd team and now a regular 2nd team player whilst maintaining vice-captaincy of the 3rds and also acting as the clubs fixtures secretary and hence representative to the YHA (Yorkshire Hockey Association).

I continue to play hockey for Bishop's Stortford when I am back and am always willing to help out any team if it means a game.

Coach for the juniors U9s section. Used to play a bit but now just looking to have a bit of fun, hopefully playing with my sons Alistair & Oliver

Ex 1st team captain & club captain, now playing in rightful role within the 6's!! Known for giving umpires help and encouragement, along with great distribution to opposition centre forwards! "Sorry Boys"

5th season with BSHC after previously turning out for the GSK and University of Warwick teams.

Andy came late to the game and is still trying to catch up with the rules and in particular the need to leave drinking games to the under 40's!
